4.              Regulation 1S amended

In regulation 15:

(a)	in paragraph (j) delete "environment." and insert: environment;
(b)	after paragraph (j) insert:
(k) gas. or liquid fuel as defined in the Liquid Fuel Emergency Act 1984 (Commonwealth)

loss of or interruption to the supply of natui'al resulting in loss of life. prejudice to the safety, or harm to the health, of a person.

5.              Regulation 23B inserted

At the end of Part 3 insert:

23B.	Hazard management agency — Coordinator of Energ
The Cooidinator as defined in the Energy Coordination Act 1994 section 3(1) is the hazai'd management agency of the hazards set out in regulation 15(k) -

(a)	for the aspects of preparedness and response; and
(b)	for the whole State.

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Emergency Management Amendment

2.              Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows -

(a)	regulations I and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Emergency Management
Regulations 2006.

4.              Regulation 17 :amended

After regulation 17(3) insert:

(4) FESA is the hazard management agency for the hazard

of tire -

(a)	for the emergency management aspect of response; and
(b)	f(n- the whole of the State.
