AN ACT to amend " The Elementary Education Act,

1871."

[Assented to, 17th July, 1.874].

liT"EREAS it is expedient to amend "The Elementary	Preamble,
Education Act, 1871," with reference to the support of Government Schools and the limitation of Grants to Assisted Schools; Be it enacted, by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
, A SUM not exceeding in the whole the sum of Three pounds ten shillings per head, on children attending schools as mentioned in	Increase of support to
Government Schools.
the twentieth section of the said Act, shall be allotted to Govern- ment Schools, instead of the sum of Two pounds fifteen shilling's per head.
