AN ACT to amend " The Elementary Education Act,

1871."

[Assented to, 17th July, 1.874].

liT"EREAS it is expedient to amend "The Elementary

Preamble,

Education Act, 1871," with reference to the support of Government Schools and the limitation of Grants to Assisted Schools; Be it enacted, by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-
