1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Electronic Transactions Amendment Regulations 2001 (No. 2).

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 1 July 2001.

3Amendment of Electronic Transactions Regulations 2000

Schedule 1 amends the Electronic Transactions Regulations 2000.

 For subsection 8 (4) of the Act, subsection 8 (1) of the Act does not apply to a law of the Commonwealth specified in Schedule 1 in an item that specifies subsection 8 (1) in column 3.

5Exemption from Division 2 of Part 2 of Act

• (1)

  For subsection 13 (3) of the Act, Division 2 of Part 2 of the Act does not apply to a law of the Commonwealth specified in Schedule 1 in an item that specifies that Division in column 3.

• (2)

  For subsection 13 (3) of the Act, a provision of Division 2 of Part 2 of the Act does not apply to a law of the Commonwealth specified in Schedule 1 in an item that specifies that provision in column 3.

6Exemption from section 14 of Act

 For subsection 14 (8) of the Act, section 14 of the Act does not apply to a law of the Commonwealth specified in Schedule 1 in an item that specifies that section in column 3.

7Exemption from section 15 of Act

 For subsection 15 (4) of the Act, section 15 of the Act does not apply to a law of the Commonwealth specified in Schedule 1 in an item that specifies that section in column 3.
