Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Electronic Transactions Act 2000.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to declare the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal to be and 15 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Electronic Transactions Amendment Regulation
2010.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Electronic Transactions Regulation 2007

Clause 8 Definition of “court” for the purposes of Part 2A of the Act

Insert after clause 8 (2):

(3) The Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal is declared to be a court for the purposes of Part 2A of the Act.
