Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations 2007

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 .5 March 2007

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Electricity Supply Industry Amendment Regulations 2007 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Electricity Supply Industry Regulations 1996 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4 amended (Circumstances in which licence not required) Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after subregulation (3) the following subregulations: (4)  Tasmanian Ports Corporation Pty. Ltd. (ACN 114 161 938) does not require a licence to distribute or retail electricity to the following properties in Hobart: (a) 1 Franklin Wharf; (b) 7-9 Franklin Wharf; (c) the Elizabeth Street Pier. (5)  Subregulation (4) expires at midnight on 31 December 2008.
