Electricity Supply (General) Amendment

(Delta Electricity) Regulation 2015

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Electricity Supply Act 1995.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Electricity Supply (General) Regulation 2014 as follows:

(a)

to specify Sunset Power International Pty Ltd (the new owner of Delta Electricity) instead of Delta Electricity as a direct supplier of electricity who is required to participate in the energy savings scheme under the Electricity Supply Act 1995,

(b)

to replace a reference to Delta Electricity with a reference to Sunset Power International Pty Ltd for the purpose of identifying the liable acquisitions that are applicable to Sunset Power International Pty Ltd for calculating its individual energy savings target under the energy savings scheme.

This Regulation is made under the Electricity Supply Act 1995, including sections 101 (2), 107 (2) (b) and
191 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Electricity Supply (General) Amendment (Delta Electricity)
Regulation 2015.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Electricity Supply (General) Regulation 2014

Clause 29 Direct suppliers of electricity

Omit “Delta Electricity” wherever occurring.
Insert instead “Sunset Power International Pty Ltd (ACN 162 696 335)”.
