2 Electricity (Superannuation Scheme Determination) Amendment (No. 2) No. 218, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Electricity (Superannuation Scheme Determination) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Electricity (Superannuation Scheme) Determination (No. 2) 1988 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.4 (Definitions) 3. Section 4— insert— ‘ “Accumulations Fund” has the meaning given in section 3 of the Articles; ’. ˙ Amendment of s.5 (Variation) 4.(1) Section 5(b)— omit, insert— ‘ (b) that the employer’s contribution be— (i) up to and including 30 June 1993—1.395 times the employee’s contributions; and (ii) from 1 July 1993—1.995 times the employee’s contributions reduced by contributions made to the Accumulations Fund by the employer on behalf of the employee; ’. (2) Section 5 (last sentence)— omit. ˙ Insertion of new s.5A 5. After section 5—

3 Electricity (Superannuation Scheme Determination) Amendment (No. 2) No. 218, 1993 insert— ˙ ‘Employer’s contributions regarding employee who made election on or before 30 September 1988 ‘5A. In relation to an employee who, on or before 30 September 1988, made an election under paragraph (2) of the proviso to section 5, the employer’s contribution to the Scheme is— (a) up to and including 30 June 1993—1.86 times the employee’s contribution; and (b) from 1 July 1993—2.66 times the employee’s contribution reduced by contributions made to the Accumulations Fund by the employer on behalf of the employee. ’.
