1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke the Electricity Safety (Electrical Appeals Board) Regulations 1999.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 157 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 29 July 2002.

4Revocation

The Electricity Safety (Electrical Appeals Board) Regulations 1999[1] are revoked.

1.     General Information

The Electricity Safety (Electrical Appeals Board) (Revocation) Regulations 2002, S.R. No. 59/2002 were made on 16 July 2002 by the Governor in Council under section 157 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998, No. 25/1998 and came into operation on 29 July 2002: regulation 3.

The Electricity Safety (Electrical Appeals Board) (Revocation) Regulations 2002 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 16 July 2012 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
