Electricity (Licensing) Amendment

Regulations 2000

Made by the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Licensing)
Amendment Regulations 2000.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 June 2000.

3.           The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Electricity
(Licensing) Regulations 1991*.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3(1) is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting in the appropriate alphabetical position the

following definition —

"Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules" means

AS/NZS 3000:2000 Electrical Installations (known
as the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules),
published jointly by Standards Australia and

(b)

in the definition of "live" by deleting "SAA" and " Australian/New Zealand ";

(c) by deleting the definition of "SAA Wiring Rules".

5.            Regulation 49 amended

Regulation 49(1)(a) is amended by deleting "SAA" and inserting instead —

" Australian/New Zealand ".
