By deputation from His Excellency the Governor.

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Electricity Legislation Amendment Act 1995, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 June 1995 as the day on which that Act commences, except for the following provisions:

(a) sections 5, 6 and 8 (b) and (c);
(b) Schedules 3 and 4.

Note: This Proclamation commences those provisions of the Electricity Legislation

Amendment Act 1995 that amend the Electricity Commission Act 1950 (Schedule 1) and the Electricity Transmission Authority Act 1994 (Schedule 2) and amend various other Acts as a consequence of the amendments made to the Electricity Commission Act 1950 (Schedule 5).
