Market) Amendment Regulations 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Electricity Industry (Wholesale
Electricity Market) Amendment Regulations 2015.
2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a) regulations 1 and 2— on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Electricity Industry (Wholesale
Electricity Market) Regulations 2004.
Regulations 2015 regulation 4.

4.            Regulation 4A inserted

After regulation 3 insert:

4A. References to provisions of market rules in
Schedules 1 and 2

A reference in Schedule 1 or 2 to a provision of the market rules is a reference to that provision as in force on the commencement of the Electricity Industry (Wholesale Electricity Market) Amendment

5.            Schedule 1 amended

(1) Delete the reference after the heading to Schedule 1 and insert:
[r. 4A, 30,31 and 33]
(2) In Schedule 1:
(a) delete the item for cl. 2.27.1 and insert:
cl. 2.27.6 A first contravention: $10 000
subsequent contraventions: $20 000
cl. 2.27.12 A first contravention: $10 000
subsequent contraventions: $20 000
cl. 2.27.14 A first contravention: $10 000
subsequent contraventions: $20 000
(b) delete the item for cl. 2.37.5 and insert:
cl. 2.37.8(a) B first contravention: $15 000
subsequent contraventions: $30 000

6.            Schedule 2 amended

Delete the reference after the heading to Schedule 2 and insert:
