Electricity Industry Act 2004

Electricity Industry (Network Quality and

Reliability of Supply) Amendment Code 2007

Made by the Minister under section 39(2a)(a) of the Act.

1.             Citation

This is the Electricity Industry (Network Quality and Reliability
of Supply) Amendment Code 2007.

2.             Commencement

This code comes into operation as follows:

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this code is published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the code — on the day after that day.

3.             The code amended

The amendments in this code are to the Electricity Industry
(Network Quality and Reliability of Supply) Code 2005.

4.             Section 28 replaced

Section 28 is repealed and the following section is inserted
instead —

“

28.           Reports not needed if there were no small use customers

A transmitter or distributor only has to —

(a) arrange for an audit and report under section 26; and

(b) prepare a report under section 27,

in respect of a year if, during the year, the transmitter

or distributor had one or more small use customers.
