Electricity Entities (Contributions) Amendment Act 1999

An Act to amend the Electricity Entities (Contributions) Act 1997

[Royal Assent 25 June 1999]

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Electricity Entities (Contributions) Amendment Act 1999 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Electricity Entities (Contributions) Act 1997 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 3 amended (Interpretation)Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended as follows: (a) by omitting "In this Act" and substituting "(1) In this Act"; (b) by omitting "pension; and" from paragraph (c) of the definition of "total revenue" and substituting "pension."; (c) by omitting paragraph (d) from the definition of "total revenue"; (d) by inserting the following subsection: (2)  The amendments to this section effected by the Electricity Entities (Contributions) Amendment Act 1999 expire 5 years after the day on which that Act commences and, on that expiry, this section, as in force before the commencement of that Act, has effect as if that Act had not been enacted.
