This regulation may be cited as the Electricity (Electrical Articles) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Electricity (Electrical Articles) Regulation1994 . ˙ Insertion of new s 58A in sch 1 3. Schedule 1, after section 58— insert— ˙ ‘ Television receiver ‘ 58A.(1) A “television receiver” is an electrical article that— (a) is for displaying public or subscription television broadcasts; and (b) has a single cathode ray picture tube; and (c) is for household or similar use. ‘ (2) A television receiver is a prescribed electrical article and must comply with Australian/New Zealand Standard 3250.’. ˙ Amendment of sch 2, pt 1, div 2 (Fee classification of electrical articles) 4. Schedule 2, part 1, division 2, under heading ‘ Fee classification 3 ’— insert— ‘• television receiver’.
