ENERGY CORPORATIONS (POWERS) ACT 1979
ELECTRICITY CORPORATION (CHARGES) AMENDMENT BY- LAWS 1997 Made by the Electricity Corporation with the approval of His Excellency the
Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These b -laws ma be cited as the Electricity Corporation (Charges)
Amendment d' y-laws 19J7.
Commencement
2. These by-laws come into operation on 1 July 1997.
Principal by-laws
3. In these b -laws, the Electricity Corporation (Charges) By-Laws 1996 are
referred to as t e principal by-laws. K [* Published in the Gazette of 25 June 1996 at pp. 2875-98.1
Bylaw 9 amended
4. B -law 9 (4) (b) of the principal by-laws is amended by deleting "item 6
(c) an d' (d)" and substituting the following -
" item 6 (e), (0, (g) and (h) ". Schedule 1 amended
5. (.I) Schedule 1 to the principal by-laws is amended in the tariff description headed "TARIFF Al" -
(a)
by deleting "22.54 cents per day." and substituting the following -
12.75 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day. ".
" 23.39 cents per day. ";
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit." and substituting the following - " 12.75 cents per unit. "; and
(c) by deleting "22.54 cents per day for the first dwelling;" and substituting the following -
" 23.39 cents per day for the first dwelling; ".
(2) Schedule 1 to the rincipal by-laws is amended in the tariff
description headed ''TARIFF d;" -
(a) by deleting "Fixed charge a t the rate of 22.54 cents per day." and substituting the following -
"
Fixed charge a t the rate of 23.39 cents per day. "; and
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day." and substituting the following -
"

descnption headed "TARIFF Dl" -
(a) by deleting "22.54 cents per day," and substituting the following - " 23.39 cents per day, "; and
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit." and substituting the following - " 12.75 cents per unit. ".
(4) Schedule 1 to the principal by-laws is amended in the tariff
description headed "TARIFF K1" -
(a) by deleting "A fixed charge a t the rate of 22.54 cents per day." and substituting the following -
"
A fixed charge a t the rate of 23.39 cents per day. "; and
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day." and substituting the following -
"
12.75 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day. ".
Schedule 2 amended
6. (1) Schedule 2 to the principal by-laws is amended in the tariff
description headed "TARIFF A.2" -
(a) by deleting "A fixed charge a t the rate of 22.54 cents per day." and substituting the following -
"
A fixed charge a t the rate of 23.39 cents per day. ";
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit." and substituting the following - " 12.75 cents per unit. "; and
(c) by deleting "22.54 cents per day for the first dwelling;" and substituting the following - " 23.39 cents per day for the first dwelling; ".
(2) Schedule 2 to the rincipal by-laws is amended in the tariff description headed "TARIFF 82" -
(a) by deleting "Fixed charge a t the rate of 22.54 cents per day." and substituting the following -
"
Fixed charge a t the rate of 23.39 cents per day. "; and
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day." and substituting the following -
"
12.75 cents per unit for the first 20 units per day. ".
(3) Schedule 2 to the principal by-laws is amended in the tariff
description headed "TARIFF D2" -
(a) by deleting "22.54 cents per day," and substituting the following - " 23.39 cents per day, "; and
(b) by deleting "12.29 cents per unit." and substituting the following - " 12.75 cents per unit. ".

(4) Schedule 2 to the principal by-laws is amended in the tariff
description headed "TARIFF K2" -
