Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2007

Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004

The Administrator, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the fees payable under the Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004 in respect of model approvals for electrical articles and for renewals, modifications and notices of change of particulars of model approvals.
The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index for 2006
and 2007.
This Regulation is made under the Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004, including section

55 (the general regulation-making power) and, in particular, section 55 (2) (f) and (i).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Electricity (Consumer Safety) Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2007.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2007.

3 Amendment of Electricity (Consumer Safety) Regulation 2006

The Electricity (Consumer Safety) Regulation 2006 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
