An Act to enable the salary limitation in respect of appeals and objections by servants of the Electricity Commission of New South Wales to be fixed by regulation; for this purpose to amend the Electricity Commission Act, 1950; and for purposes connected

therewith. [Assented to, 6th March, 1972.]

BE

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as
follows: —

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "Electricity

Commission (Amendment) Act, 1972".

(2) This Act shall commence upon a day to be appointed by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

2. The Electricity Commission Act, 1950, is amended—

(a)

by omitting from subsection one of section sixty- seven the words "five thousand eight hundred dollars per annum" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "the amount per annum prescribed for the purposes of this subsection by the regulations";

(b)

by omitting from paragraph (b) of section sixty- eight the words "five thousand eight hundred dollars per annum" and by inserting in lieu thereof the words "the amount per annum prescribed for the purposes of this section by the regulations".
