Electricity and Water (Modification) Regulations

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Electricity and Water (Corporatisation) (Consequential Provisions) Act 1995.

Citation

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity and Water (Modification)  Regulations.

Commencement

2.  These Regulations commence, or shall be taken to have commenced, on 1 July 1995.

Modification of Electricity Act

3.  Section 33 of the Electricity Act 1971 is modified—

(a)by omitting “, without the written permission of the Authority or of a person authorized by the Authority”; and

(b)by omitting “an officer of the Authority authorized by it” and substituting “a person authorised by the Chief Executive”.
