ACT 1991 No. 63—PROCLAMATION

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, with the advice of the
Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Electricity and Other Legislation (Amendment) Act 1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 March 1992 as the day on which that Act, except for:
(a) the provisions of Schedule 1 (10) and (11); and
(b)
the provisions of Schedule 1 (12), in relation only to proposed section 29 (1) of the Electricity Act 1945; and
(c)
the provisions of Schedule 2 relating to the Search Warrants Act 1985,
commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Proclamation commences all but a few of the amendments made by the Electricity and Other Legislation (Amendment) Act 1991. The amendments that are not commenced by this Proclamation relate to the sale of certain electrical articles, to the reporting and investigation of serious electrical accidents and to the safe maintenance of electrical installations.
