I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance

of section 2 of the Electricity and Other Legislation (Amendment) Act
1991, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 January 1993 as the day on which Schedule 1 (12), in so far as it relates to section 29 (1) of the

Electricity Act 1945 commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence Schedule 1 (12) to the Electricity and Other Legislation (Amendment) Act 1991 in so far as it relates to section 29 (1) of the Electricity Act 1945. That provision deals with the safe maintenance of electrical installations by consumers. The other provisions of Schedule 1 (12) commenced on 1 March 1992.
