s1 2 s4 Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2003 No. 123, 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2003 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Electricity Regulation 1994 . 3 Insertion of new ch 2, pt 1A Chapter 2, before part 1— insert — ‘PART 1A—PRELIMINARY ‘6A Application of ch 2 ‘ (1) This chapter does not apply to— (a) an electric line or works within the limits of a mine; or (b) petroleum plant. ‘ (2) In this section— “mine” means— (a) a coal mine within the meaning of the Coal Mining Safety andHealth Act 1999 ; or (b) a mine within the meaning of the Mining and Quarrying Safetyand Health Act 1999. “petroleum plant” means private plant or an electrical installation subject to inspection under the Petroleum Act 1923 . “private plant” means generating plant not used by an electricity entity or special approval holder in accordance with an authority or special approval.’. 4 Renumbering of ch 2, pts 1A–2 Chapter 2, parts 1A to 2— renumber as chapter 2, parts 1 to 3.
