s1 2 s4 Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 No. 103, 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2003 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Electricity Regulation 1994. 3 Insertion of new s 155A Chapter 6, part 3, after section 155— insert— ‘155A Fluorescent lamp ballast ‘ (1) This section applies to a fluorescent lamp ballast, other than a ballast to which the standard mentioned in schedule 4, part 1, item 5A, applies. ‘ (2) A person must not attach an energy efficiency label to the ballast unless the label— (a) complies with the labelling requirements of the standard mentioned in subsection (1); and (b) is attached to the ballast in the way shown in the standard. Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. ‘ (3) If an energy efficiency label is attached to the ballast, a person must not sell the ballast unless it conforms with the energy efficiency rating shown on the label.
