s1 2 s4 Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2001 No. 69, 2001 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2001 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Electricity Regulation 1994. 3 Replacement of s 348A Section 348A— omit, insert — ‘348A Levy on electricity entities—Act, s 64AA ‘ (1) For section 64AA 1 of the Act, the total levy is— (a) for the financial year ending 30 June 2001—$720 000; and (b) for the financial year ending 30 June 2002—$816 000. ‘ (2) The levy must be paid by an electricity entity by periodic instalments in advance within 14 days after the date of the notice given to the entity by the chief executive for the period. ‘ (3) The periodic instalments payable by an electricity entity mentioned in schedule 7A, column 1, are stated in schedule 7A, columns 2 to 4, opposite the name or description of the entity. ‘ (4 ) The periodic instalments payable by an electricity entity mentioned in schedule 7B, column 1, are stated in schedule 7B, columns 2 to 5, opposite the name or description of the entity.’. 4 Amendment of sch 7A (Periodic instalments for levy) Schedule 7A, heading, ‘section 348A’— omit, insert — ‘section 348A(3)’. 1 Section 64AA (Funding for dispute resolution and complaint investigation functions) of the Act
