s1 2 s5 Electricity Amendment (No. 1) No. 53, 1998 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Electricity Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1998 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Electricity Regulation 1994 . ˙ Amendment of s 248 (Limits on obligation to provide customer retail services) 3. Section 248(1), ‘49(2)(a)’— omit, insert— ‘49(3)’. ˙ Amendment of s 248TB (More than 40 GWh in a consumption period) 4. Section 248TB(5), definition “total consumption” , ‘—the’— omit, insert— ‘—from the’. ˙ Amendment of s 248TD (Estimated future consumption more than 40 GWh) 5.(1) Section 248TD(2), after ‘section’— insert— ‘, the declaration only takes effect’. (2) Section 248TD(5), definition “estimated total consumption”, ‘—the’— omit, insert— ‘—from the’.
