This regulation amends the Electricity Regulation 1994 . ˙ Amendment of s 271 (Amount payable for electricity bought by wholesale trade) 3.(1) Section 271(2), ‘fixed’— omit . (2) Section 271(3) and (4)— omit . ˙ Replacement of s 280 (Electricity generated by hydro-electric generating plant) 4. Section 280— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Electricity generated by hydro-electric generating plant ‘ 280. Electricity generated by conventional hydro-electric generating plant has, for section 271, a variable charge worked out as the weighted average variable charge for all generating plants (other than conventional hydro-electric generating plants) supplying electricity to the power system at the time.’. ˙ Amendment of s 281 (Treatment of electricity generated by pumped storage generating plant 5.
