ELECTRICITY ACT 1945—REGULATION

(Relating to references to Sydney County Council)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Electricity Act 1945, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Electricity Councils Regulation 1987 is amended:

(a) by omitting from clause 4 (1) the words “Sydney County Council”;

(b) by omitting clause 7 (4).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Electricity Councils Regulation 1987 as a consequence of the Sydney Electricity Act 1990. That Act dissolved the Sydney County Council and replaced it with Sydney Electricity.
