ELECTRICITY ACT 1945—REGULATION

(Relating to qualifications for live high voltage overhead line work)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Electricity Act 1945, has been pleased to make

the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Overhead Line (Workers) Regulations 1964 are amended by inserting at the end of Schedule 5 the words “Shortland County Council.”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe as an additional class of persons allowed to carry out work aloft on a live high voltage overhead line persons holding certificates or statements from Shortland County Council showing satisfactory completion of the course of training in live high voltage overhead line work conducted by it.
