ELECTRICITY ACT 1945—REGULATION

(Changing the name of an electricity distributor)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Electricity Act 1945, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Schedule 7 to the Electricity Act 1945 (Electricity distributors) is amended by omitting the matter relating to Oxley Electricity and by inserting instead in alphabetical order the following:

NorthPower

Great Lakes local government area (part)
Greater Taree City
Hastings local government area

Kempsey local government area

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to change the name of an electricity distributor

named in Schedule 7 to the Electricity Act 1945 from Oxley Electricity to NorthPower.

This Regulation is made under the Electricity Act 1945, including section 6A ( 1 ) (c).
