ELECTRICITY ACT 1945—PROCLAMATION

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A.C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 6A of the Electricity Act 1945, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 7 to that Act so as:

(a) to remove the local government areas of Greater Lithgow and Rylstone from the distribution district of MidState Energy and include them within the distribution district of MetSouth Energy;

and

(b) to remove the local government areas of Merriwa (part) (being that part of Merriwa described in clause 5A of the Electricity (Amalgamation of Electricity Distributors) Regulation 1995), Muswellbrook, Scone and Singleton from the distribution district of NorthPower Energy and include them within the distribution district of MetNorth Energy,

as from 22 December 1995.
