ELECTRICITY ACT 1945—ORDER

NEW SOUTH WALES

I, Michael Rueben Egan, Minister for Energy, make the following Order in pursuance of section 6A (2) of the Electricity Act 1945.

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity (Amalgamation of

Electricity Distributors) Order (No. 2) 1995.

Commencement

2. This Order takes effect on 22 December 1995.

Transfer of staff, assets, rights and liabilities to MetSouth Energy

3. The following assets of MidState Energy are transferred to

MetSouth Energy:

(a)	any interests held by MidState Energy in land situated within the local government areas of Greater Lithgow or Rylstone;
(b)	any immoveable assets held by MidState Energy in the form of power lines, electrical structures or electrical equipment on land situated within the local government areas of Greater Lithgow or Rylstone.

Transfer of staff, assets, rights and liabilities to MetNorth Energy

4. The following assets of NorthPower Energy are transferred to

MetNorth Energy:

1995—No. 761

(a)	any interests held by NorthPower Energy in land situated within the local government areas of Muswellbrook, Scone or Singleton or within that part of Merriwa described in clause 5A of the Electricity (Amalgamation of Electricity Distributors) Regulation 1995;
(b)	any immoveable assets held by NorthPower Energy in the form of power lines, electrical structures or electrical equipment on land situated within the local government areas of Muswellbrook, Scone or Singleton or within that part of Merriwa described in clause 5A of the Electricity (Amalgamation of Electricity Distributors) Regulation 1995.
