Electrical Safety (Delegation by Regulator) Amendment Regulation 2019 (Qld)

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Electrical Safety (Delegation by Regulator) Amendment Regulation 2019.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences immediately after the commencement of the Work Health and Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2017, section 51.

3   Regulation amended

This regulation amends the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013.

4   Insertion of new s 285B

After section 285A—

insert—

285B   Prescribed person for delegation by regulator—Act, s 122B

(1)For section 122B(1) of the Act, the WHS prosecutor is prescribed.

(2)In this section—

WHS prosecutor means the Work Health and Safety Prosecutor appointed under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, schedule 2, section 31.
