Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 . 2 Commencement (1) Part 4 is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2008. (2) Parts 2 and 3 commence on 1 March 2008. Part 2 Amendment of Electrical Safety Regulation 2002 3 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Electrical Safety Regulation 2002 . 4 ‘57A Insertion of new s 57A Part 3— insert — Details to be included in register of workers ‘The following details are prescribed for the Act, schedule 2, definition prescribed details for the holder of an electrical work licence engaged to perform or supervise prescribed electrical work— (a) the holder’s name; (b) the following details about the holder’s electrical work licence— 2008 SL No. 2 Page 3

Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008 Part 4 Amendment of Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Regulation 2003 [s 7] Part 4 Amendment of Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Regulation 2003 7 Regulation amended in pt 4 This part amends the Workers’CompensationandRehabilitation Regulation 2003. 8 Replacement of sch 3 (Graduated scale of additional compensation for certain workers) Schedule 3— omit, insert— ‘Schedule 3 Graduated scale of additional compensation for certain workers section 96 ‘1 Graduated scale ‘(1) This schedule contains the graduated scale for additional compensation for a worker who sustains an injury that results in a WRI of 30% or more. ‘(2) The maximum amount of lump sum compensation payable under this schedule is $218400. ‘2 How to use the graduated scale ‘(1) The WRI calculated under section 183 of the Act is shown in column 1. ‘(2) A worker who sustains a WRI shown in column 1 is entitled to additional lump sum compensation in the amount shown for the corresponding entry in column 2. 2008 SL No. 2 Page 5
