AN ACT to amend the Electric Lighting

Act, 1892.

[Assented to 23rd December, 1905.]

and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.

This Act may be cited as the Electric Lighting Amendment

Short title.

Act, 1905, and shall be read as one with the Electric Lighting Act,

'1892, hereinafter referred to as the principal. Act.

2.

Section two of the principal Act is hereby amended by

striking out the words " 'council' means municipal council," and

inserting in place thereof the words " 'local authority' means the

council of a municipality or the board of a \road district."

Wherever in the principal Act the word " council " occurs,
