AN ACT to amend the Electoral (War Time) Act, 1943,

and to continue its operation.

[Assented to 23rd October, 1946.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short title 1.

This Act may be cited as the Electoral (War Time) Act Amendment Act, 1946, and shall be read as one with

the Electoral (War Time) Act, 1943 (Act No. 28 of 1943 as amended by Act No. 30 of 1945), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Amendment

Paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of section five of the principal Act is amended by inserting after the words "but within" in the fourth line, the words "Japan, Borneo or."

Section nine of the principal Act is amended by

inserting after the word "commissioned" in the first line

of paragraph (a) the words "or non-commissioned."

of subsection (2) the words "or non-commissioned."

Section sixteen of the principal Act is amended by inserting after the word "commissioned" in the first line of paragraph (b) of the proviso, the words "or non- commissioned."
