and supplies the particulars set forth in the Schedules I. and 11. hereto, as the case may be; and provided also the period of registra- tion on such previous roll, together with the period of registration on any subsequent roll, amounts to six months on the day of voting: Provided also that, where the application is for registration in a division or district other than the division or district for which the applicant was previously registered, the Registering Officer receiving such application shall forward the same to the Registering Officer of the polling-place for which the applicant was last registered, and no person's name shall be entered on the roll until the appli- cation has been returned and certified by the last-mentioned Registering Officcr as being correct as to prior registration.

Northern Territory

5, Any person whose name appears upon the Electoral Roll for the Northein Territory last in force before the taking of the census for the year one thousand nine hundred and one shall be entitled to vote at the first general elections following the passing of this Act, notwithstanding that his name does not appem upon the Electoral Roll for the Northern Territory prepared and coming into operation as mentioned in section 3 hereof.

shall be guilty of an electoral offence punishable under the pro-
