The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Electoral Act 1992.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

Principal Regulations

2.  In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Electoral Regulations.

Insertion

3.  After Part II of the Principal Regulations the following Part is inserted:

PART IIA—BALLOT PAPERS

Declaration ballot papers

“5A. The heading to be printed or endorsed on a ballot paper to be used for declaration voting shall be the heading to a ballot paper set out in Schedule 1 to the Act modified by inserting Declaration above Ballot paper.”.
