Electoral Act 1992

1. Name of regulations

   These regulations are the Electoral Amendment Regulations 2004 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day after their notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Electoral Regulations 1993.

6. Prescribed classes of items—Act, s 295 (1) (h)

   A publication of a government agency is a prescribed item if it includes—

   (a)the expression ‘building our city, building our community’; and

   (b)any of the following expressions:

   ·   Australian Capital Territory

   ·   Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly

   ·   ACT Legislative Assembly

   ·   Australian Capital Territory Government

   ·   ACT Government.
