s1 2 s3 Electoral Amendment (No. 1) No. 331, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Electoral Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Electoral Regulation 1992. ˙ Insertion of new pt 2A 3. After section 4— insert— ‘ PART 2A—REGISTRATION OF POLITICAL PARTIES ˙ ‘ Application for registration—Act, s 70 ‘ 4A.(1) For the Act, section 70(4)(g), an application for registration of a political party that is not a Queensland parliamentary party must be accompanied by— (a) for each person whose name is set out in the application as being a member of the party, a copy of each of the following— (i) the person’s application for party membership; (ii) unless the party’s constitution provides that acceptance of any application for membership is automatic, a document evidencing the party’s acceptance of the person as a member in accordance with the party’s constitution; (iii) if the application for registration is made more than 1 year after the person’s application for party membership, a document evidencing that the person is a member of the party as at the date of application for registration; and (b) a list of associated entities of the party. ‘ (2) In this section—
