An Act to alter the Hours of Voting at Parliamentary

Elections.

[Assented to, December &h, 1889.1

E it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Aus-

.B tralia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, as follows, that is to say:

1, At all elections of members to serve in the Parliament of South Australia, the polling-booths shall be open to the public and

closing polling-bootha

to voters at eight o'clock in the forenoon, and shall continue so open until all the votes of electors present in the pollingbooth at the hour of sewn o'clock in the evening shall have been taken, and shall then finally close,

This Act shall be incorporated with "The Electoral Act, 1879,"

Incorporation.

and the Acts amending the same, which shall hereinafter be read and construed as if the hours for the opening and closing of polling- booths fixed by this Act were fixed by the said Acts.
