This Act and the Principal Act may together be cited as "The Elections Acts, 1915 to 1925." Amendments 2. The Principal Act is hereby amended as AofcPt. rincipal follows:- Section 69. (1.) The following subsection is added to section sixty-nine:- eCulnaecsceotinootfne. sted may " b( 1e2d.) uNlyotnwoimthisntaanteddinagstahecafancdtidthaatet foonrlyanonyedpiestrrsiocnt and that in consequence no poll is required to betaken of the electors of that district, the provisions of this section shall apply and be observed in order to enable electors of other districts to vote as absent voters in that district, and for that purpose the word "poll" where it occurs in sections forty-nine and fifty-two of this Act shall be deemed to include a poll of absent voters as provided by this section taken on the polling day mentioned in subsection one of this section." Section 70. (2.) In subsection one of section seventy, the words "be within any district" are repealed and the words " in the case of a general election be within any district, or in the case of a by-election be within the district for which the by-election is being held and for which he is enrolled" are inserted in lieu thereof. * 6 Geo. v.
