AN ACT to amend the Election of Senators

Act, 1903.

[Assented to 27th September, 1912.]

and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.

This Act may be cited as the Election of Senators Amendment

Short title.

Act, 1912, and shall be read as one with the Election of Senators

Act, 1903, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2.

Section two of the principal Act is amended by adding at

Amendment of

the end thereof a paragraph as follows:-

See. Com., No. 17 of

1903, No. 11, s. 2.

" The day fixed for the polling shall be a Saturday."

1911, s. 12.

3.

Section three of the principal Act is amended by omitting

Amendment of s. 3.

from the third paragraph thereof the word " sixty," and inserting

1911, s. 13.

in its stead the word "ninety."

4.

Section seven of the principal Act is amended by omitting Amendment of s. 7.

See Com., No. 17 of

the word " seven," and inserting in its stead the word " eight."
