v

MINISTER FOR IMMIGRATION, CITIZENSHIP, MIGRANT SERVICES AND MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS & ANOR
[2022] HCASL 56
S178/2021

  1. The applicant seeks special leave to appeal a decision of a single judge of  the Federal Court of Australia (Farrell J), exercising the appellate jurisdiction of the Federal Court, to dismiss an appeal from the Federal Circuit Court (Judge Heffernan). The Federal Circuit Court dismissed the applicant's application for judicial review of a decision by the Immigration Assessment Authority upholding the decision of a delegate of the respondent to not grant the applicant a protection visa.

  2. The application raises no question of principle of general importance and has insufficient prospects of success to warrant a grant of special leave.

  3. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application with costs.
