Eggs (Export Inspection Charge) Collection

sub-section 3 (1) of the Act, an export permit in force under regulation 22 of
the Export Control (General) Regulations in relation to the export of eggs is

4. Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended—
(a) | by omitting all the words from and including "in a State" to and including "in any particular" and substituting "and in relation to which a prescribed export permit has been granted to the exporter in any"; |
(b) | by adding at the end of paragraph (b) "to which the return relates"; and |
(c) | by omitting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph: |
"(c) in respect of each prescribed export permit granted to the exporter during the relevant month, being a prescribed export permit relating to eggs inspected for export—
(i) the serial or other identifying number (if any) of that permit;
(ii) the date on which that permit was granted; and
(iii) the place at which the eggs to which that permit relates were inspected;".
5. Regulation 10 of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the followingregulation substituted:
Records to be kept
"10. (1) An exporter of eggs shall, in respect of each prescribed export permit granted to him in relation to eggs, keep, or cause to be kept, proper records showing—
(a) | the serial or other identifying number (if any) of that permit; |
(b) | the date on which that permit was granted; |
(c) | the place at which the eggs to which that permit relates were inspected; |
(d) | if that permit relates to eggs in shell—the number (expressed in thousand dozen) of eggs in respect of which that permit was granted; and |
(e) | if that permit relates to eggs other than eggs in shell—the number of tonnes of eggs in respect of which that permit was granted. |
