An Act to amend
the Eggs (Export Inspection Charge) Act
1982

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the
Senate and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as
follows:
Short
title, &c.
1. (1) This Act may be cited as
the Eggs (Export Inspection Charge)
Amendment Act 1984.
(2) The Eggs (Export Inspection
Charge) Act 19821is in this Act referred to as the
Principal Act.
Commencement
2. This Act shall come
into operation on a day to be fixed by Proclamation.
By
whom charge payable
3. Section 7 of the
Principal Act is amended by omitting “who furnishes an export notice” and
substituting “to whom a prescribed export permit has been issued”.
Application
4. Notwithstanding the
amendment made by section 3, section 7 of the Principal Act as in force
immediately before the commencement of this Act continues to apply in relation
to eggs in respect of which an export notice was furnished before the
commencement of this Act.
