This regulation may be cited as the Egg Industry (Restructuring) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Regulations amended 2. This regulation amends the Hen Quotas Regulation 1988 and the EggIndustry (Restructuring) Regulation 1993 . ˙ Commencement 3. This regulation commences on 25 June 1994. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF HEN QUOTAS REGULATION 1988 ˙ Omission of s 9 and Second Schedule 4. Section 9 (Hen quota fees) and Second Schedule (Hen quota fees)— omit . PART 3—AMENDMENT OF EGG INDUSTRY (RESTRUCTURING) REGULATION 1993 ˙ Insertion of new ss 3 and 4 5. After section 2— insert—

s6 3 s6 Egg Industry (Restructuring) Amendment (No. 1) No. 209, 1994 ˙ ‘ Annual fee payable by quota holder (s 73(2) of the Act) ‘ 3.(1) The annual fee payable by a holder of a quota for a quota number in a range of numbers set out in column 1 of the Schedule, is the amount set out opposite the range of numbers in column 2. ‘ (2) However, the annual fee payable by a holder who pays the fee in a lump sum by the date fixed in an account for payment given to the holder is the relevant amount set out in column 2 of the Schedule, less 10%. ‘ (3) If the Authority authorises a holder to pay the annual fee by instalments and an instalment remains unpaid for 14 days after its due date, the Authority may give the holder an account demanding payment of the total balance of the fee by a date fixed in the account. ˙ ‘ Transfer fee payable by quota holder (s 76(2)(b) of the Act) ‘ 4. The transfer fee payable under section 76(2)(b) (Transfer of quotas) of the Act is $50.’. ˙ Insertion of new Schedule 6.
