Egg Industry Research (Hen Quota) Levy Collection Regulations

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Egg Industry Research (Hen Quota) Levy Collection Act 1987.

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Egg Industry Research (Hen Quota) Levy Collection Regulations.

Interpretation

2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears, “the Act” means the Egg Industry Research (Hen Quota) Levy Collection Act 1987.

Manner of payment of levy

3. (1) Where an arrangement in accordance with subsection 5 (1) of the Act is in force with a State or Territory specified in Column 2 of an item in the Schedule, the prescribed manner of payment of levy in that State or Territory is payment to the collecting authority specified in Column 3 of that item at the address specified in that column of that item in relation to that authority.

 

(2) The prescribed manner of payment of levy in the Australian Capital Territory is payment to:

The Collector of Public Moneys,

Department of Primary Industries and Energy,

Edmund Barton Building,

Barton, A.C.T. 2600.
