(Repealing the Egg Standards Regulation 1989)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Egg Industry (Repeal and Deregulation) Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Citation

1. This Regulation may be cited as the Egg Standards Regulation

(Repeal) Regulation 1991.

Commencement

2. This Regulation commences on 1st May, 1991.

Repeal of Egg Standards Regulation 1989

3. The Egg Standards Regulation 1989 is repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Egg Standards Regulation 1989 as the Regulations made under the Food Act 1989 now deal with the freedom of eggs from contamination.
