Regulations 1982 No . 13' Egg Industry Regulations
1, WILLIAM MICHAEL HODGMAN, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Egg Industry Ordinance 1975.

Citation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Egg Industry Regulations.
Commencement
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 July 1982.
Interpretation
3. In these Regulations, "quarterly levy day" means the first levy day that
occurs after 31 March, 30 June, 30 September or 31 December in each year.
Licensee to keep records
4. A licensee shall within 3 days after the levy day, 8 July 1982, and within 3 days after each subsequent levy day, make a record of the following information:
| (a) | the number of hens and the number of pullets kept by the licensee on that levy day; | |||||||
| (b) | the number of batches of hens and pullets and the number of hens and pullets that were included in each of those batches that were, on each day in the period of 14 days that ended on the expiration of that levy day, brought to the parcel of land specified in his licence; | |||||||
| (c) | the number of hens and the number of pullets that died during that period while being kept by the licensee; | |||||||
| (d) | the estimated ages of the pullets kept by the licensee on that levy day; | |||||||
| (e) | the name and address of each person at whose premises the hens and pullets referred to in paragraph (b) were hatched; | |||||||
| (f) | the number of hens and the number of pullets that the licensee despatched to another parcel of land on each of the days referred to in | |||||||
| ||||||||
|
(1) the name and address of each person to whom the hens and pullets
referred to in paragraph (f) were despatched.
Penalty: $200.
Records to be furnished to Egg Industry Officer
5. (1) A licensee shall, within a period of 14 days after a quarterly levy day, furnish to the Egg Industry Officer a copy of each of the records required to be made by the licensee under regulation 4 in respect of the period commencing on the day immediately following the quarterly levy day that preceded the first-mentioned quarterly levy day and ending on the expiration of the first-mentioned quarterly levy day.
(2) A person who, without reasonable excuse, refuses or fails to comply with the requirements of sub-regulation (1) is guilty of an offence punishable, on conviction, by a fine not exceeding $200.
Records to be kept for 2 years
6. A licensee shall keep, for a period of 2 years, on the parcel of land specified in his licence, each record made by him under regulation 4.
Penalty: $200.
