Mr Edwards

Applicant

And

Ms Edwards

Respondent

REASONS FOR JUDGMENT

  1. The matter of Edwards comes before me in a Judicial Duty List.  The application listed is the father’s Contravention Application filed 12 April 2016.

  2. The matter was called on at approximately 10.30am.  The respondent has appeared, although she informs the Court that she has not been served with the Contravention Application listed this day.  There has been no appearance on behalf of the applicant father.  I caused my court officer to call the father.  He did not answer the call.  In the circumstances, where final orders were made by Cronin J a matter of days after the Contravention Application was filed, and where the applicant has not sought to press his application before me, I will make orders dismissing the Contravention Application

I certify that the preceding two (2) paragraphs are a true copy of the reasons for judgment of the Honourable Justice Johns delivered on 7 June 2016.
