s1 2 s4 Education (Senior Secondary School Studies) No. 275, 1997 Amendment (No. 2) ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Education (Senior Secondary School Studies) Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Education(SeniorSecondarySchoolStudies) Regulation 1989 . ˙ Amendment of s 2 (Definitions) 3. Section 2— insert— ‘ “State educational institution” has the meaning given by the Education(General Provisions) Act 1989 .’. ˙ Amendment of s 10 (Subject advisory committee) 4. Section 10(2)(d)— omit, insert— ‘(d) 1 person nominated under subsection (3) who, at the time of appointment, is a parent of— (i) a student attending year 11 or 12 at a State educational institution or other school in Queensland; or (ii) a person expected to attend year 11 or 12 at a State educational institution or other school in Queensland during the term of appointment; or (iii) a person who attended year 11 or 12 at a State educational institution or other school in Queensland and whose last day of attendance was not earlier than 2 years before the day of appointment.’.
